Target Audience: UG & PG Students of All over India
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), GOI has conceived the project of SWAYAM PRABHA to run 32 DTH (Direct to home television) channels using GSAT15 transponders that telecast high quality educational programmes on 24X7 basis.
DTH is already operating these 32 channels since 15th of August, 2016, daily six hours of fresh content which is repeated three times a day, allowing the student to choose the time of his convenience.
Swayam Prabha Schedule
Each channel is allotted a dedicated UG/PG subject together with a subject coordinator who handles the respective subject for the channel and also identifies Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the channel.
EMRC Gujarat University, is allotted Swayam Prabha DTH Channel 07, which broadcasts programs for UG and PG courses in Business Economics, Commerce, and Financial Accounting & Economics.
The students can watch this channel on Dish TV, DD (DTH).
EMRC Ahmedabad has produced more then 140 Video Program (Fresh Content Creation) in last two years
EMRC Ahmedabad has 1200 + Video Programs in his Bank and first ever CEC’s DTH Channel to Broadcast daily 12 hour fresh Content from 2019.
